so most importantly we won. i truly don't know how the metrics work. did we win by enough points to make it a "good win?" huge to see Mtaco looking like what we need. if he can be anywhere near that consistently, we still may have a chance to be good. what can you even say about XJ? he's just not what we need. that said, as far as him "wanting" to hit that dude or "thinking" about hitting him, i actually think he deserves credit for having the control to not do it. i also think it is crappy for the home crowd to cheer when he sat. is that really what they did? i think i fell asleep at that point. i want to win Tues so badly and could actually see it. please let it happen. tough part is we have 2 auto losses coming right after it, so if we lose Tues which also wouldn't surprise me, things are gonna get rough.

so good to see Mtaco leading us in scoring! this kid has potential. just not sure he has it mentally or that he is ready to play the 3. he will be at some point though. i don't think he'll be in an Indiana uniform at that point though. anyway, seems Ware was the MVP. people seem really reluctant to vote for him these days it seems. maybe taking him for granted? i mean Mtaco had 2 more points, but took one more shot and had 4 rebounds to Ware's 14. assists were 2-2. Ware had 2 blocks to MM's 0. Ware had 1 more TO.

more about not having guys out of position. at least we had a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 out there.

don't love it, but love it over playing a 4 as a 3. at least no Walker, Banks, and either Ware/Reneau at the same time.

seriously! it's crazy. a little wind and rain. worried about transportation. it's not even close to freezing, but saying winds could blow the bus over. absolutely no way the wind is going to be that strong tonight. oh well, now i can drink bourbon and watch the Hoosiers.

update. they postponed my son's game due to wind and rain. yes. wind and rain. Southerners are hilarious. now i can bring my optimism to the game thread!

will be watching and broadcasting my son's HS game until about 930pm then will watch the replay.

See I mainly agree with you here. Sure, we need at least 2 starters in, but the big thing that isn't that tough to figure out is more of not having 3 guys who can't play the wing or struggle to score in general in at the same time. For instance, I could be okay with 1 Galloway 2 Cupps 3 Gunn 4 Walker and 5 Reneau or Ware for a few minutes. Only 2 starters, but not a horrible fit. Now, I don't think it is really necessary to only have 2 starters in, but maybe you could survive that for just a few minutes. A lineup of 1 Cupps 2 Gunn 3 Banks 4 Walker 5 Reneau or Ware should happen for 0 minutes EVER.

yeah, not much question that this team only reaches it's ceiling with XJ playing and playing well. that said, that seems to happen very few and far between and it doesn't seem like he is the leader we need. either way, it seems we're kinda screwed.

see, i'm not even 100% advocating for him to be booted, but he should definitely be suspended. i would bet he gets no punishment.
