that's cool. i don't know enough to disagree. i am a fan of his. i just have to admit i was a fan of Miller too. didn't see it coming that he would be bad.

i don't think there's any way Woodson is fired after this season, but would still be interested to see your list!

not sure to be honest. definitely has something to do with it, but he has done a heck of a job at Florida Atl and i think it's cool he coached at Eastern Greene. i actually got my coaching start at Eastern Greene back when i was at IU. i coached the 7th grade boys one season! anyway, i do think it's a little like Archie Miller though. you can't know until they are on a stage that big.

yeah. and he's only a sophomore. we won the state this year. his uncle went to GA and played for the Panthers.

i think we get clobbered the next two and then should win at home vs Iowa and Penn St., but things will be in such meltdown mode after 3 lopsided losses, will we even recover to win home games? i still think yes. i hope so. who knows?

i know some don't agree, but i still don't credit the staff for "developing" JHS. he came in a 1 and done. they were going to play him as a SG and he wouldn't have flourished as much. when X went down, there was no choice, so they played him at PG where he could create for himself and teammates. i still argue had X not gotten hurt, JHS would not have had nearly the season he had.

i think there is something said for a team to have an identity. i think you look at Purdue, Wisconsin, maybe even Michigan St. and you know their identity every year. tough team. hard nosed. solid team D. unselfish, smart ball. not sexy or fun to watch, but identity. syracuse was always their 2-3. some teams play fast. some teams dominate the boards on both ends. etc, etc. what is our identity?

haven't won at Wisconsin since 1998 right? 26 years?

i will continue to watch all games, so i want to see us compete and make it at least exciting to watch. then i want to see us bring in the right mix of guys to go along with McNeeley. don't even know who else i want to be here or will be here.

not the place for this, but i didn't want to start a thread for it and don't follow IU football, but... one of my students just got an offer from IU football. i'm willing to bet money he ends up at either GA or AL, but still kinda cool.

i honestly expect next year to be worse, but i'll never stop watching Hoosier bball and cheering them on. and likely be disappointed.
