Was listening to the DP Show on my way back from town and the crew was discussing Bryce Harper. Hard to believe it is his 10th year in the league. He has won the RoY and the MVP award. He has also appeared in 6 ASGs. However at present his career stats don't make him a HoFer.
Which brings me to the question: Who has appeared in the most All-Star games without being elected into the HoF upon being eligible?
I just found out that Warsaw opens their season against Dublin Coffman. Yeah, a HS from Dublin, Ohio. A suburb of Columbus. But the Tigers have it at home. JSMH.

Big difference between Notre Dame and 'Bama/Brutus. The Irish have the Catholic church on their side. The other 2 do not. How many Catholic FBS schools are there?
Just like @dgambillI think if the B1G could get USC and Stanford in the fold that Notre Dame wouldn't be too far behind. The Irish have long pointed to those rivalries. They can play the service academies(another one of their traditions) in their non-con schedule.
