I can't type all of the nuances that existed pre-DH. I liken the DH to the 3-pt. shot. Both have changed their games immensely. Some good, some bad.

There is more to it than just a PH. Oh the days of the double switch.

Victor Bailey has committed to George Mason. Originally he was at Oregon before transferring to Tennessee. Started a handful of games for both the Ducks and Vols. Transfer portal at it's best.

I love Will as well. But man, he could have handled that a lot differently.

Personally, I raise an eyebrow when a frosh doesn't see meaningful minutes anymore. I really don't see the "wait my turn" thing happening these days too much.
