According to the Bucknut fans I know, their opinion was that Ahrens started "sucking" when conference play rolled around for some reason. A couple of them even said he was getting way too many minutes coming down the stretch. But yeah, what I saw of him this year he just couldn't hit shots. Not the same guy I saw early on.

At the end of the day KL showed us very little in his 2 years here. If he can start for someone else next year I would call it a personal success on his part. JMO

IIRC, an arrest warrant was issued for RMK but the Governor of Indiana(Robert Orr) stepped in somehow. I am pretty sure the Puerto Rican gov't wanted him extradited. But yeah, that was quite awhile back...1979?
