Hopefully this poor play is just a result of not knowing the system and plays well enough. Guys not in the right place on both sides of the ball.

Cupps may not have been the MVP but he definitely gets a shoutout from me. We definitely need his intensity tonight to get it going in the second half.

Carr will definitely get an opportunity this season just based on athleticism and effort alone. I don’t claim to be an expert on MSU’s players but I agree on him. Fears and Booker tbd.

I can’t believe I fell for the MSU hype lol. They’re just like Wisconsin… just because you bring a lot of guys back doesn’t mean you’ll be any better. It’s a long season though and they have good pieces, maybe they can figure it out.

A tremendous loss to the program, university, and the world of basketball. I never was able to experience IUBB with Knight as coach, but I’m grateful to be able to enjoy the program that he laid the foundation for. My prayers go out to his family, friends, and everyone impacted by his passing. RIP Coach!

Yes those two most likely starting with Cupps and CJ Gunn off the bench. It seems likely that Jakai Newton may redshirt or else he would be a candidate there too. Probably won’t see a lot of Leal either.

Maybe we’re looking at it through our rose-colored glasses but I’m right there with you. I think we’re a very talented team, one that certainly could be argued as a top 25 team. There seems to be heavy doubt since we’ve lost 4 starters from last year and have several unknowns. We just have to wait and see how all of these pieces fit together.

That’s exactly what it sounds like. May be one of those situations where “mentors” have their own agenda that may not match the players choice or best interest.

Everytime I read something saying it might be UK I get concerned… but then I remember Cuban and him follow each other and I can’t imagine anyway that’s just a coincidence.

Didn’t realize those two had transferred there… they very well may surprise some people this year.

That’s what I was leaning towards… I’m in a lot better position at QB compared to week 3 when all I had was fields and he was coming off three straight disappointing games

I actually think Fields can be pretty successful in the right situation but it’s clear the entire organization is a dumpster fire.
